Why I HATE the phrase, “At least I have a job.” And why you should too!

Some thoughts from Charleston, SC this morning. Too many people miserable today, change something.

I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.” Steve Jobs

In case you missed my last post on Dreaming  I talked about how I recently woke up again and decided to go after some things that have been on my list. There’s nothing wrong with being excited about life. Surround yourself with people that dream big and get moving.

I’m lucky to have so many friends with big goals. One of the first steps to getting busy is defining your goals. Make it official, give me your goal in 3 words in the comment section. I’d love to know what you’re working on.

Have a great weekend. – Bradley

    • Jim would say that. What people should know is that when Jim says something, it usually happens! Miss you guys.

  1. I worked for many years at a job that I hated, I hated waking up to another day of that job. It was mind numbing but I had a goal, I quietly worked towards it, I stayed focused. Most importantly though one day I took a chance, I said yes. It was a risk, I left everything behind, never lost sight of the goal and things worked out and now life is fantastic.

My short term goal in 3 words – lose some weight
mid term goal – live amongst mountains
long term – to inspire someone
